Purified Loft

We have been in business for five years and offer our loft as a rental space for film and photo shoots. Our space is considered a ‘raw’ loft space with amazing views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, the East River and the Manhattan skyline.

We take great pride in offering you a great rental experience. For every shoot we have an on-site loft representative who oversees the care of the loft and is also available to answer any questions you may have about our space.

We do have a few rules about our space that insure the longevity of the loft. Here is a list of the DO’s and DON’TS:

You MAY NOT drill into any wood columns or beams, or brick walls.
You MAY NOT hang any lights/ items off the ceiling sprinkler pipes
You MAY drill into or paint any sheet rock walls, as long as you repair any damage to the walls.
You MAY use our 110V with 15amp and 20amp circuits.
You MAY use our furniture. If you chose not to use the furniture, it needs to be removed by your team and safely stored in the adjacent space to the loft.

Purified Loft and the Building

135 Plymouth had a number of great shooting locations, including the roof, stairwells and plenty of ‘gritty’ hallway spaces. Often, crews will use our space in conjunction with other spaces in the building, depending on their needs. It is also preferred by large film crews because our loft is adjacent to a large open space that is often used for staging. Our space is within 135 Plymouth and we control the rental of our space only. If you are interested in the use of the our space and other building spaces, you’ll need to contact the loft manager, Liz Burow, and building manager, Dave Benedeto, 718-624-8181, separately.

Because we are so close to the Manhattan Bridge's subway line above, we do NOT recommend use of the space for live audio recording.
